Mirror Fun *****5 stars*****
* Place Naasih in his bassinet and hang a shatter-proof mirror on one side of the bassinet where your baby can see it.
* Start talking to your baby and then tap on the mirror to get her to look over.
* The mirror will provide your baby with visual stimulation while Naasih is lying in the bassinet. Eventually, Naasih will begin to understand that the cute baby staring back is him!

* After Naasih has finished feeding, hold him in your lap and softly shake a rattle on one side of his head, then on the other side.
* Shake it slowly at first, then faster and faster.
* Naasih will search for the noise with his eyes. When you see him responding to the sound, praise him and cuddle him.
* Put a finger puppet on your finger. Say Naasih's name while moving the puppet up and down, and see whether Naasih can follow the movement.
* Now move the finger puppet in a circle.
* Each time Naasih is able to follow the puppet, try a new movement or series of movements. This will help develop your baby's visual accuracy and speed.
3-6 Months :o)

* Sit on the floor with Naasih facing you. Place your hands firmly under Naasih's arms and around his chest to support his body.
* Ask your baby, "Are you ready to fly in the sky?" Then say, "Here we go. One, two, threeee!"
* Roll back until you are lying down and holding Naasih above you. Say "fly, baby, fly!"
* Not only will Naasih love the sensation of flying, you may love the workout it gives your arms and back muscles!
The Name Game

* Hold Naasih in your lap facing you. Touch different features on her face as you name them.
* Try two features to start. Each time say, "This is Naasih's nose," "This is Naasih's ear." Repeat several times.
* TakeNaasih's hand and guide him to touch your nose and ear alternately. As you guide Naasih's hand, say, "This is Ibu's nose," "This is Ibu's ear."
* As your baby gets older, you can begin to ask her, "Where's your nose?" Place her hand on her nose and say, "Here it is!" Repeat this with all features.
What's Cooking?
* Whenever you are in the kitchen, sit Naasih safely in an infant seat or swing.
* As you prepare food, talk about each thing that you do, such as:
"Ibu's stirring."
"Ibu's pouring."
"Ibu's washing."
* Let Naasih play with measuring spoons, bowls, and wooden spoons.
* When Naasih is old enough, let him help pour, beat, and stir.
* Always name each ingredient as you use it.
Can You Remember?
* Sit on a chair with Naasih in your lap and a table in front of you.
* Place Naasih’s favorite toy on the table where she can see it.
* Talk to Naasih about the toy, then pick him up and turn him to face you.
* If he turns his head back to look for the toy, praise him and give him the toy.
* If Naasih is crawling, you can play this game on the floor. Simply lay him on his tummy and put the toy in front of him.
* Move the toy to one side of him and see if he will crawl around to find it.
* Once Naasih begins looking for the toy, it’s important to help her
find it quickly. This will help her develop confidence.
